If you're here to see the cartoons, go to this link.

Otherwise, welcome to my personal website:

March 14 - Life continues to amaze...
Time passes much too quickly! I guess if I didn't keep working on so many projects, I'd draw a lot more cartoons (either that or I'd be fully rested for a change on a tropical island somewhere...lol...)

But the projects have been really cool - and you can take a look if you're interested:

  • The National Cartoonists Society will be in Pasadena in April - I've been working on thier website for quite some time.
  • Digital Masters School/Berkana Online: You can't see yet, but if you're the slightest bit interested in learning how to use graphics software programs, write and design web pages, or learn programming, please email me. Online classes begin in the upcoming months, and I'd love to keep you informed about this.

December 3 - News Flash! I quit my Dream Job at MetaCreations Corporation! You may ask, "If it was a dream job, then why did you quit?" Well, I still love the products and the company, but it was time to move on. Fortunately, there's scads of fantastic opportunities for web folx right now, so finding something new and dreamy was no problem.

Behold VideoBrush Corporation. It's a great little startup company, conveniently located in Carpinteria - just like MetaCreations. In fact, the faces there are quite familiar - most are former employees of Meta from one time or another. Cool people - that's the first thing it has going for it. The other thing that makes it an interesting place is it's a spinoff of Sarnoff Corporation (RCA Labs, David Sarnoff, technology including LED lights, NTSC TV standard, and HDTV, and also other spinoff companies involved in pharmaceuticals and other technologies).

So what will I be doing there? The official job title is "Director of Internet Operations." This means I get to take care of the website and do fun marketing stuff as well.

We'll see how it goes. : )

So what's the rest of this site about?

This is my home.

I love this place. I'm talking about my home in the virtual world of course.

I've always felt I express myself better on paper and pixels than in person: in art, music and feeling than I could ever explain in words. When talking to friends I sometimes trip over my words and get bottled up, frustrated that I can't convey things the way I envision them in my mind.

I like stories. I'm endlessly fascinated by people and the messes they get into - including myself!

I like to view the world on it's side.

The stories I write and draw may be true or purely fictional, and I'm not about to tell you the difference (well, I may at times). They're often amalgamations of bits and emotions to express whatever I was feeling at the time. Each one contains something that's emotionally true or amusing to me, but I want to respect the privacy of the people in my life, even ones I've felt hurt by or I don't agree with.

With this in mind, go ahead and click on a link to the left: Geeks is a cartoon that's updated weekly, Chaos is about the randomness of day to day life, Historical/hysterical falls into the category of "reflecting on experience", and Why is about... um, why. ;)
